Is soulmate for opposite sex only? or also same sex? We know that in our generation, many people now who are in relationships or sometimes people who are married with their same sex. We cannot change the fact that people are affected by the change in the environment. If we see someone who is gay or lesbian, we always judge them by their looks and appearances. It means that we are still not yet used to the reality that even same sex can fall in love.
Moving on, there is actually a Filipino movie directed by Olivia Lamasan entitled
"In My Life", it is a story of same sex relationship of two men namely Mark Salvacion and Noel Villanueva. Mark and Noel lived in the same roof in America and surprisingly, Mark's mom, Shirley, surprised his son that she will move in with him in the States(with Mark). Shirley was aware of Mark's homosexuality since his high school years. Upon her arrival to the States, Shirley is picked up at the airport by Noel and she thinks that he was only hired to help her. When the arrive to the apartment of his son, she notices some pictures of Mark and Noel being affectionate towards each other. She then realized that Noel and Mark is in a relationship. It reflects how Shirley changes her attitude and how she views the relationship of two men and how she accepts the reality. She sees how happy Mark and Noel and how they really love each other.
Sometimes we should accept the fact that, not only men and women who lives in this world can fall in love but also the third sex. They also also humans who fall in love like a normal people do, believe it or not, there are also who are meant to be with their life time partner.
